Norms and Judgment
Norms of the elaboration
The articles could be presented in Portuguese, English or Spanish. The whole work must be sent through the Submission of Work, it has to follow the available model in the site, in the option Scientific Articles => model of the article (.doc ? Word 2000) don?t forget: 1) to convert the archives into PDF and 2) to send 2 archives, 1 with the names of the authors and co-authors and another one without the names.
The text of the Summary must have maximum of 250 words, without bibliographical references and notes. The Summary cannot have figures, tables or graphs.
Judgment
- Evaluation will be anonymous (blind review): the works will be examined by the Scientific Commission of the respective Thematic Areas.
- The Scientific Commission will only have access to the articles that goes to evaluate, which is automatically distributed by the system to two appraisers and to third when it is necessary, or else, each work being evaluated by, at least, two professors and when seeming be different (one approved and one disapproved) will go to a third professor to evaluate, so no professor will know if is the first one, second or third evaluation, this way we have the secrecy and the impartiality in the evaluations.
- There will be only accepted works with adjusted writing and orthography, therefore the sent version will be definitive.
- They will be accepted works submitted in Portuguese, English or Spanish
The Commission of Evaluation
- It will judge the works in accordance with the pre-established norms, in accord with the areas, criteria for elaboration and quality of the content and searches of the work, limiting the election to the number adjusted for presentation in the available time in the Congress.
- Until the deadline to send articles, the author will may to send your article and to do the corrections if necessary (area, order of authors, structure of article, and others)
- The Commission of evaluation will not exchange articles with other Thematic Areas;
- It will not exchange works with other Thematic Areas.
- It will only judge the works that fulfill the norms of format and deadline.
- Substitutions of works will not be allowed.
Presentation norms
The works has to be presented in the form of VERBAL COMMUNICATION and POSTER to the Appraisers and the people presents during the Session.
- Verbal communication - the author must elaborate presentation of the article in the Power Point, as the model, and will have 15 minutes for the presentation to the appraisers and people presents and 5 minutes for challenge. - Poster - It must be elaborated in size 0,90 X 1,20, as model, in material (canvas or polyethylene) to be defined by the author. The poster need to have finishing with cord making possible its setting in the private places 30 minutes before its presentation, that is responsibility of the presenters. The days, schedules and place will be informed from the spreading of the accepted works for the Scientific Commission. Click here to download model poster.
The presentation of the work could be made by the author and one of the co-authors of the work. The accepted works will be published entirely in electronic Proceedings of the event (CD-ROM), since that presented for at least one of the authors. With the objective to prevent problems with desistances in the presentations, the authors who to confirm its presence in the event and not to appear will be hindered to submit articles in the next event. Beyond the publication in Proceedings of the event, 20 better works, 2 in each thematic area, evaluated for the Scientific Commission of the Congress, will have its publication in book.
